Dear Future Campers,
This letter is a clarification as well as a friendly reminder, that a complete registration form accompanied by a deposit (which is applied to the balance due for payment in full before camp starts) will reserve a camper spot; however, only a completed registration form, MCF form, copy of “up to date” physical and immunization form and full payment must be received by SLSHBC BEFORE the start of camp for the child to be considered “registered”.
There will NOT be any exceptions made this year once camp begins. Space is limited and spaces are granted on a “first come, first serve” basis and only with the proper requirements to become a “registered camper”.
Some examples of submissions that will not be considered as acceptable to be reserved for a spot at camp are (but not limited to) the following:
SLSHBC will not consider any verbal promise or voicemail to register and pay as a reserved or registered camper.
SLSHBC will not consider just a registration form as a reserved or registered camper.
SLSHBC will not consider a deposit by itself (without a registration form) as a reserved or registered camper.
SLSHBC will not consider an email or written request as a form of registration and the student will not be reserved or registered.
Meaning that if SLSHBC does not have at least both registration form and deposit in hand then your child is not “holding a spot”. If all proper documentation and payment in full is not received BEFORE the first day of camp, then your child is not considered as “registered” and your child’s spot will be given to a student who has sent all required documentation and payment to SLSHBC BEFORE the start of camp. Deposits are non-refundable but will be applied to the total amount due. Spaces are limited so you will want to get those in quickly.

Silver Lake Summer Hoops Basketball Camp

** We will be making sure that all campers are well hydrated will have a light schedule during extremely hot days. We hope to have use of the air conditioned cafeteria for our future stars, snack breaks, and lunch**
Silver Lake Summer Hoop time is finally here! Time for our 30th year of Silver Lake Summer Hoop Camp. We will again be working very hard to provide our campers and our community with a clean safe environment while providing the opportunity to let kids enjoy basketball and still have a great time. It is our intention to run our basketball camp as we have in the past. We have sold out the last few years, if interested please sign up early.
We will have numerous hand sanitizing stations, freeze pops, and water breaks throughout the day! Our famous water balloon toss will be a big hit again this year.
Please try to remember that even though we are a basketball camp. We are trying to offer a safe outlet for kids this summer. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
We will update our website with the 2022 registration forms once they have been printed. Unfortunately, due to the number of campers we can only reserve spots for players that have at least sent in the $150.00 non-refundable deposit with a registration form and medical forms needed. Please be on the lookout for the updated information on our website. We will update the website once the registration forms have been printed.Please feel free to forward this email to any interested campers. Can’t wait to see everyone at camp this summer! Check in is between 8:30am-9am Monday - Friday
*If any camper is not feeling well, please keep them home and notify Coach Steele ASAP*
1) Please use the event door entrance, there is a sign posted. The sign in tables will be at this entrance.
2) Lunches and snacks will be brought to the cafeteria. Please have the child's name on everything!
3) Any A.M. camper who would like to stay for the afternoon session there will be a $35 charge per day. Just let us know during check in.
4) We do sell Domino’s pizza ($2 a slice), Gatorade ($2) and bottled water ($1). Bug juice is still free! We will pass out all beverages and pizza. We prefer parents/campers to prepay on Monday (1st day of camp) by bringing an envelope with your child’s name, how much money, how many slices per day and if they are getting a drink per day.
5) Pick up for all campers will be by the event door entrance. Please come to the entrance door and we will escort your son or daughter out to you. Afternoon pick up is 3 P.M.
6) We will be disinfecting all touch areas during our breaks, lunch and the end of camp. (Basketballs, bathrooms, door handles etc.)
7) Once camp begins there will be no refunds, only credits for the next week’s camp or next year’s camp.
8) Parents are not allowed in the building unless there is an emergency. The idea of camp this summer is to take that step outside the “bubble” so to speak. It will not only be about basketball but other fun activities in a safe environment. We will provide basketball instruction and other activities that the campers will enjoy.
